Year 13 student Patrick Koppert is participating in the Gateway programme and is hosted by Otago Electrical and Communications Limited.

I am lucky enough to be placed with Otago Electrical Communications for my Gateway placement. I have travelled across the city carrying out work on industrial premises, churches and garden centres. I have also had experience with electrical testing.

Recently I have experienced both rewiring existing premises and installing new wiring in building extension work.
