Congratulations to Year 9 student Sam Hughes who has headed to Australia to compete in a number of dog sled races.

Sam has been invited to participate in events in Australia after winning the NZ Federation of Sled Dog Sports 2018 Junior Musher title. He will race on snow this weekend at the Dinner Plain Sled Dog Challenge before travelling to Canberra to compete in a dry land race.
