The Otago Athletics Championships are to be held this weekend at the Caledonian grounds.

A number of OBHS students had outstanding performances at the Otago Athletics meet held last weekend.

Nathan Hill won both 1500m and 3000m senior mens races.
Ashton Booth won the Grade 13 Boys 400, 800 and 1500m titles.
Cameron Moffitt secured titles as a Grade 14 athlete in the 100m Sprint, 200m Sprint 300m Hurdles (record), 100m Hurdles, Shot Put (record), Discus and Long Jump.

Cameron also won the Andrew Finn Trophy for his outstanding contribution to Junior Athletics on and off the track.

A number of the junior school athletes performed well and gained top 3 places throughout the weekend.

The following students have been named in the Otago Inter-provincial team to travel to Taranaki at Easter.
