Another term has flown by and hopefully the world will be spinning back to normal soon.

I am very pleased with how our Year 9s have settled into their new school. I am grateful for their vibrancy and passion, a refreshment every school needs. On the flip side, they have been very well led by the Year 13s. Simple things like 3 x 3 basketball gives everyone an opportunity to compete for their House and create memories for years to come.

Today, I sign out for the next 10 weeks. My sabbatical will give me the opportunity to visit other schools. To see what they do well and to think how we might enhance our own school and hostel. In my absence, the school will be led by Mr Andrew King. I have full confidence that he and the rest of the senior leadership team as well as all our staff will continue to develop this fine school.

Over the break enjoy some good weather, some laughter and some song. Remember when he comes back, no phone.
