Year 13 student Hadley Johnston is making a sauna for his family's new home in Wanaka.

Hadley is using cyprus and cedar timber for its construction due to the heat and moisture associated with a sauna and he hopes to have it completed at the end of the third term. 

At this stage he is uncertain whether to take it up to Wanaka as a kit set and assemble it there or try and fit it onto a trailer and complete the construction in Dunedin. The size of the sauna is 3m x 2.5m and should seat four people comfortably.
