Congratulations to Year 13 student Nicholas Pryde who competed at the 2017 South Island Swimming Championships held in Blenheim last weekend.

Competing in a number of events, Nick came away with a total of six medals.

Gold: 1500m Freestyle, 400m Individual Medley

Silver: 400m Freestyle, 4 x 100m Medley Relay (Regional)

Bronze: 200m Butterfly, 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay (Regional)

An outstanding accomplishment yet again from a young man who clearly has a bright future in this sport.
