Bad weather caused postponements, but we got there.

Year 13 Biology students completed their data collection field trip this week.

They were investigating invertebrate abundance and species composition, water flow and pH and substrate. Students will compare their findings from two different sites along Leith Stream. One site was relatively au natural as opposed to the urban site at the clock tower, Otago University.

Apparently the water was freezing, but it was 9 degrees!
