Congratulations to Year 13 student Angus Brett who along with his Warrington Surf Lifesaving team members competed successfully at the Under 19 Surf Lifesaving Southern Regional Championships held at Waikouaiti recently.

Over the weekend Angus and his team competed in both short and long course canoe events coming third in their first short course heat, second in the semi final and second in the final. 

In the long course event they placed second in the heat and second in the final behind the reigning national champs. 

The team now head to nationals which are being held at Midway Beach in Gisborne from the 11th of March.
