Our Year 9's were treated to an OBHS baptism of fire on Wednesday as houses jostled for an early victory for bragging rights in the early stages of our school house competition.

Crowds of Year 9 boys crammed into Mr Matehaere’s old station wagon in ways they never imagined possible, cheered on by their Year 10 and senior peers.

In the end no single house could cram that extra boy in to win outright, results being:

Aspinall - 26
Park - 26
Saxton - 26
McIndoe - 24
