10H spent last week at Mount Aspiring Lodge.

The weather was great and the boys had a busy and fun week. The boys took part in plenty of indoor and outdoor activities, competing for The Matukituki Shield. Competition was rife! Challenges included: table tennis, indoor bowls, firewood collection, board games, card games and frisbee golf. The mighty Cabin Three took out the prize and claimed the shield.

A highlight of the trip was the overnight camp. The boys swam, fished and then cooked their tea on an open fire. They visited a glow worm habitat and the next day, looked at the history of The Lodge.

From visits to Wishbone Falls to a tramp to Mount Aspiring Hut, it is safe to say that a lot of fun was had by all!!!
