On Monday the school took delivery of the latest model of a New Zealand made rowing “eight” manufactured by SLR Racing of Napier. All nice in bubble wrap!
This project has been several years in
planning and many more years fundraising by parents. It was unloaded by some of the rowers and coaches before placing it on the racks in our very own shed by the harbour.
The other “Eight”, the “Adamson”, being twenty two years old and overweight after the many repairs it has endured, continues as a valuable training boat.
