Last weekend Nicholas Sim took out the Double Rise, Points Score, awarded Highest Secondary School Shooter and won High Gun. Now he's over 18, there's no Junior section for him!

Jackson Stevens and Darrius Rogers also travelled to this club shoot in Mataura with their coach Mr Bill McKinley. It was the Mataura Clay Target Club 75th Anniversary Shoot. Darrius was fortunate to win in a draw a new $3000 gun from Shooters World in Gore.

While school competitions have finished for the year, club championships continue to run all twelve months of the year.

Hopefully Nicholas has not peaked a week too early seeing as the South Island Men and Women's Championships are next week in Christchurch!
