This week the school received a note of thanks from a member of the public. Well done to Judah Nika and Josh Telfer Chiles who helped this person. You are a credit to yourself, your family and to the school.

My car broke down this morning on Stuart St and a couple of Otago Boys' pupils stopped to see if they could help. 

They were very polite and helpful and stayed until I could get someone to come and look it at. I just wanted to pass on my thanks and that they were great representatives for the school. I didn’t catch their names but they were in Year 11 and had Math first period. I think they might have ended up a bit late, that’s my fault.

If they’re curious, the bit they found broken was a coil pack – one of the spark plugs had blown out and the engine was running on 3 cylinders.
