Respect reigns at Touch

Richard Hall —

It is always heartening to hear praise from parents for our boys, especially when that praise comes from a parent at another school!

This week, I was delighted to receive an e-mail from a John McGlashan parent who had been a spectator at the Touch matches on Tuesday.

Her son's team played two matches against the OBHS Red and OBHS White teams. These teams, made up of Year 9 boys are clearly embracing the value of the term which is Respect.

The email praised not only their sportsman-like behaviour, but also their manners and respectful conduct. These boys have all earned themselves a "shout-out" which means they are well on their way to gaining their Respect Values Badge at the end of this term.

Well done to the following boys:

Sam Brophy MC4
Caleb Elder MC2
Jonty Graham SN1
James Henderson AP6
Hoani Kiwara MC6
Hector McCallum MC1
Drew Passey AP5
Noah Smith PK6
Ryan Smith MC7
Jackson Templeton MC5
