Otago Boys' has twenty students enrolled in the Gateway Programme (including six at Otago Polytechnic) for 2016. Students are placed with employers within an industry they would like to pursue upon leaving school.  Over the coming weeks we will showcase both our students and employers.  

Whilst out on placement at Kingsgate Hotel on Fridays I have learnt something new each week. The team are very caring and helpful. I gain skills in a wide range of areas working in the kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance and also on the front desk.

I enjoying working with the team as they are very hardworking and enjoy a laugh.

Kingsgate has given me more experience out in the work force and I would highly recommend the Gateway programme.
