Attendance is vital in boys achieving their academic potential. Last year a higher percentage of hostel boys were under 85% attendance than day boys. If the boys are below 85% attendance, they are missing more than half a term a year. This is having a big impact on their academic progress. So with two long weekends coming up for King's Birthday and Matariki in Term 2,  please consider the impact of taking your boys out early on Fridays and returning late on Mondays. These long weekends are impacting the overall attendance of the boys at School House.
