Last weekend OBHS had 3 students participating in the National Secondary Schools Weightlifting Championships which were held in Upper Hutt.

It was a very successful competition for our boys with the following results:

Lochlan Webb
Under15 - 61kg boys won bronze with a 57kg snatch and 68kg clean and jerk.

Torin Webb
Under15 - 61kg boys won silver with a 68kg snatch and 83kg clean and jerk. He was also the second best Under15 boy overall (including all weight classes).

Patrick Sefo-Cloughley
Over15 - 96kg boys won silver with a 106kg snatch and 125kg clean and jerk.

In team points, Otago Boys' were second equal overall.  Congratulations to you all.
