With the normal school routine now underway for the year, it is important to remind parents and caregivers the importance of road safety on Arthur Street.

Unless you have an appointment with a staff member or have been called to collect a student who is unwell or injured please do not park on the school grounds.

With both Otago Boys' and Arthur Street schools in close proximity, Arthur Street is exceptionally busy before and after school. We suggest that if you are collecting your son, arrange a collection point that is not directly in front of the school.

It has been brought to our attention that a number of close misses have been observed this week. In the interest of both pedestrians and other vehicles, can we also ask that you do not perform U-turns on Arthur Street, especially in front of the archway.
