In the weekend, Year 13 students Daniel Visser and Tai Ratima organised a gaming tournament in the school auditorium.

As well as the OB's boys, it was awesome to see a few from other Dunedin schools such as Otago Girls', King's, and East Otago High School.

Super Smash Bros is a Nintendo Switch game where players pick and battle with well-known characters such as Mario, Sonic, Pikachu, Cloud, Link, and Kirby.

After five hours of a complicated knockout system used in gaming tournaments, Otago Boys' student Nachi Kanno came out on top having only dropped one round in the best of a five final match.
