From the top of Signal Hill (with Chris Hamilton, one of the instructors), this week the boys did shuttle runs to enjoy riding the downhill tracks, namely the Jump Track and Ginger Cougar.

We spent last term riding a variety of local tracks under the guidance of Nick Beekhuis, from Off Track Tours. Boys endured mud and some uphill riding but enjoyed the mix (and downhill bits). Several of the group are now looking to build towards the South Island Champs which are being held in Dunedin this October.

Mountain biking will hopefully resume in Term 4. It would be great to see some new riders join us and be able to ride in warm and dry conditions.
