Wairua Pῡhou performed a whakangahau bracket (entertainment) last night at the Otago Māori and Pasifika Polynesian Festival.

This was a resounding success with the rākau being the most entertaining of all with the boys displaying their skills.

Powerful singing voices were also a highlight and they have certainly gained the interest of the school choir teacher.

Many thanks go to tutors Mac Te Ngahue, Kaharau Keogh and Te Rina Keogh, along with the many others in the background who helped with costumes, tāmoko and props.
