After missing out on their ski trip, due to Covid restrictions, the Outdoor Education classes have literally had to get back on the bike and instead prepare for a practical assessment in Mountain Biking.

The Year 12s are completing a course at the top of Signal Hill taking in the upper section of the Easy Down and then riding up to the top of Signal Hill, on the Big Easy Up (about 3km in total). 

The Year 13s are required to ride further, and so their loop has consisted of riding 3 km up Signal Hill, to the Plateau, and then racing down the lower half of the Easy Down (about 6km total). Things have been made easier by good weather and well groomed tracks.
