After the successful quiz night at Otago Girls’ High School last Thursday 9th June, our school’s Year 9 Gifted and Talented  Road to Rhodes students delivered a cheque of $1725.90  to the Otago Community Hospice.

The boys explained to the fundraising staff their aim with the quiz was to give something back to the community and they were very proud to choose a locally based charity.

After the handing over of the cheque and obligatory photo the boys were shown around the hospice. The magnitude and generosity of the hospice’s work was brought home to the boys. They were able to see the difference their efforts will make.
