Luke is a Year 13 student currently on work placement with Brent Lucas Builders.  

Once a week Luke joins the team of builders from whom he learns the trade. "They are all good sorts and easy to get along with." Luke applied for the Gateway programme to learn new skills and to see if the building industry would be something he would be interested in once he left school.     

While visiting his work site, Luke was busy preparing the foundations for the arrival of concrete for the new industrial building.
