Please read the notice below regarding upcoming teacher strike action and school closures.

Dear Parents/Caregivers

The Post Primary Teachers’ Association (PPTA) has given notice of industrial action. This is in the form of strike action on Wednesday 29th May 2019.

While the school will remain open, due to the number of teachers on strike, classes will not be running as usual. Supervision of students will be limited.

The school will close for a mid term break on Friday 31 May. This has been in the school calendar since the start of the year.

Classes will run as normal on Thursday 30 May. We would expect all students to attend and would not sanction an early Queen’s Birthday break.

We understand the disruption this action may cause to families and thank you for your consideration.

Wednesday 29 May PPTA Strike. School open with limited staff.

Thursday 30 May School open as normal.

Friday 31 May School closed mid term break.

Monday 3 June School closed Queen’s Birthday.
