Gateway class term three 2020 taking advantage of some fresh air and sunshine to have a check and connect prior to placement last week.

Note, some students are unable to be on Friday placements presently until Level Two Covid restrictions are lifted.

Old boy Nic Carter who was in Ms Irving's first ever Gateway class is now working with current Gateway student Jacob Bolwell. Nic is employed and Jacob is hosted by Stewart Construction who have supported Otago Boys' High School with the Gateway program since its introduction to our curriculum.

Jacob is fortunate to be working on the new construction of apartment buildings. Back in the classroom, Jacob is working towards completing Level 2 BCITO Unit Standards as part of his timetabled Gateway periods.
