Learning is the core to the development of any individual.

I write this statement to assure parents that there is learning occurring in our classrooms. Your son needs to be present every day to ensure he is meeting the criteria around school attendance and performance. Shortly parents will receive the last school report. This will be the culmination of the whole years learning and will also include the recent examination results.

Congratulations to our Tennyson Shield team who defeated OGHS recently. I personally value public speaking for all boys. I believe it is a key element to a skill that is very important for life. At our school this year we have run a very successful speaking course. I would ask you to consider signing up your son next year.

As I write this the sun has come out. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come.
