Last weekend the Otago Under 15 Boys Softball team travelled to Christchurch to compete in the South Island Mainland Shield Tournament.

Congratulations to Otago Boys' High School students Dennis Kristel, Phoenix Wardell-Mao, Josh Bathgate and Zachary Clinch who were all members of the team.

The team placed 3rd overall after winning 4 of their 6 games.

Phoenix was awarded Top Pitcher of the tournament and was selected along with Josh Bathgate and Zachary Clinch for the Mainland Tournament Team.
