This week saw the conclusion of the Otago high school surfing series.

Students from 5 local schools participated in the 10 week competition held at St Clair. 

Congratulations to Year 12 student Jake Owen and his younger brother, Year 9 student Alexis who took out 1st and 2nd place respectively. Fellow OBHS student Tim Orchiston was awarded the Stoked Award, as recognition for braving the water without a wetsuit one week.

With the win under their belts, the team are now looking forward to the interschool against King's High School.
