We would like to announce the appointment of Mr Alastair Campbell as the Dean of Accelerated Learning.

I am excited to take on the role as Dean of Accelerated Learning here at OBHS. I look forward to aiding students to reach their full academic potential while being involved in the wider life of the school. 

For the past two and half years I have taught after school scholarship tutorials with several students being successful in the subsequent examinations. Prior to OBHS, I was involved in the accelerated learning programme at Palmerston North Boys' School for six years, with students gaining scholarships, university places (domestic and international), and various prestigious awards.

Over the next few weeks, I will be communicating the guiding statement, the process for identifying academically gifted and talented students, and the structure of accelerated learning at OBHS.
