In slightly damp conditions the spirit of sportsmanship lived once again.
On a greasy surface, a surprising array of skills were shown by both teams. In spite of many attempts to hit the back of the net, this feat was not achieved.
The final score was nil all and there were smiles all round the ground. The large crowd in the grandstand enjoyed the spirit of the game and participated positively.
