Fancy Feast

Old Boy Jasper Dove left Otago Boys' in 2018 to peruse a Bachelor of Culinary Arts at Otago Polytechnic.

In his first semester Jasper designed a dish based on an artifact from the Otago Museum and as part of the Otago Museum 150th  Anniversary , he was allocated a patu which is a Maori root beater. 

All the ingredients were linked to Maori, the bread crostini, smoked mussels and puha pesto, it served it on dehydrated kelp.   Jasper's dish was served at a evening function.
