What Is Happening With Dunedin's Weather?

The statisticians of the school are currently working on a project looking into various variables of Dunedin's weather. Using the University of Otago's weather station data from 2016, they are using bootstrapping techniques to investigate a question of their choice. The project is due on the 10th of March - their first statistics internal of the year.

Congratulations to Ben Reeves, George Bright and Te Ngaru Wehi who along with former OBHS student Jordon McDowall won the Under 19 section of the Dunedin leg of the  2017 Burger King 3 x 3 basketball tournament last weekend. They defeated Waitaki Boys' High School in the final to claim the title.

Otago Touch Championships

On Saturday our 1st Touch team competed in the Otago Champs held at Bishopscourt. After giving King's an almighty fright in the first game, we eventually went down 8-7 in a thriller. A comfortable victory over John McGlashan meant we have qualified for the South Island Tournament to be held in Christchurch over the weekend of the 25th and 26th of March.
