Happy Birthday Mrs MacLachlan
The school community would like to acknowledge and wish Mrs Margaret MacLachlan a very happy 101st birthday.
Margaret is the wife of the late Don MacLachlan, who was the Rector of Otago Boys' High School from 1963 - 1985.
Born on 14 June 1920 in Scotland, Margaret migrated to New Zealand as a youngster and was educated and worked in Christchurch before moving to Dunedin in order for Mr MacLachlan to take up the position of Rector.
A keen sportswoman herself, she spent many hours supporting Otago Boys' teams in various disciplines.
