The first Year 10 camp is due back today. Eight wifi-free days for our lads in the pure New Zealand Alpine environment. Magic.

Year 12 student Carlin Baumgartner has been selected for the National Under 18 Men's Ice Hockey team.

Year 12 student Jack Divers competed at the Suzuki National Triathlon Championships held in Taupo on the 14th of February.

Congratulations to Year 12 student Matthew Maydon and Year 9 student Silvan Caderas who competed in the slalom races at the Otago/Southland Water Skiing Champs held at Perkins Pond in Millers Flat last weekend. Matthew was placed 3rd in the Under 16 championship while Silvan placed 6th in the Under 13 Novice event.

The 2018 edition of this long-standing fixture, first played in 1886, ended with the home team hot on attack , and the last two OBHS batsmen at the crease.

Last Saturday, at Bishopscourt, our OBHS 1st Touch Team, ably led by Jordan Hand and Sam Rowe competed at the Otago Secondary Schools competition.

Our Senior Volleyball team were up in Christchurch over the weekend competing in the Mainlands Tournament (South Islands).

The Otago Athletics Championships are to be held this weekend at the Caledonian grounds.
