At assembly this week, our 2019 Term One Students of the Term were announced. This award recognises one young man in each year level who has lived our school values: Respect, Perseverance, Honour, Courage and Excellence. He is a student who has shown through his actions these values, not just his potential. This award, we hope, will inspire all our students.

Congratulations to Matthew Bolter who won the "Spot the Teen & Match the Book" competition which ran in the library for the last few weeks.

Parents of prospective boarding students for 2020, 2021 at all year levels and current parents of boarders at OBHS Hostel, are warmly invited to attend one of the following country visits to meet with Mr Richard Hall, OBHS Rector and Mr Matthew Markham, OBHS Director of Boarding.

On Wednesday night the school celebrated the awarding of the Summer Blues to our sporting teams and individuals.

Another futsal season has come to an end and while disrupted by School camps, withdrawals and sickness, most teams would consider it a successful one.

The 2019 election theme is “Step forward for our schools”.
