Our Junior Prize Giving is a celebration. A moment when our community comes together to acknowledge significant academic, cultural and sporting success. A time when also, I hope the boys in the audience who did not receive a prize set themselves the goal to challenge and strive to be tall poppies and to be on this stage next year.

This week we celebrated the achievements of our junior students.

In Week 7 of Term 4, 10T discovered and explored the wonderful natural area that is the Catlins.

Camp was one of the best things I’ve ever done, and I think my class would agree. It helped us a lot, especially since our class has had a lot of ups and downs this year. But, as a class, we definitely benefited from the camp and had gelled together very well by the end.

9Y have returned from their week at camp. This week in English they have written poems about their experience.

Last Fridays brilliant weather was enjoyed by parents and next year's Year 9 students and staff of our school.

What a Season Ending Haul! 

With several schools closing early this year, the finals were brought forward to Tuesday afternoon to minimise the disruption to the draw. While our Year 10 White team won by default against their King’s High School opposition, all the other teams played competitive games.

With two Year 9 classes recently returned from very successful camps at our Mt Aspiring Lodge, attention turns to the remaining camps for our 2018 Year 10 students.

From 2018 there will be a new style of jacket for our junior boys to wear at school on wet and cold days.

 If you would like to donate or sell any uniform no longer required please deliver it to the school office between 8.00am and 4.00pm before Wednesday 13 December.
