Many OBHS old boys from the period 1963 to 1985 will remember with affection the wife of Rector Don MacLachlan.

Last Saturday, 13 June 2020 on a glorious Dunedin winter day the OBHS 1st XV had their first competitive hit-out post-lockdown against a strong Kaikorai Colts team at Bishopcourt.

Dunedin-born actor Bruce Allpress, who appeared in long-running 70s TV show Close to Home, and had roles in The Piano and Lord of the Rings, has died aged 89.

This week at senior assembly we recognised commitment and dedication to sport, with the awarding of Summer Blues and National Honours to sporting teams and individuals.

Dr. William R. Cullen, FRSC, Professor Emeritus (Inorganic and Environmental Chemistry) passed away on December 1st, 2019. He was 86 years old.
