A spell of excellent weather has made the second physical week of school one of our best. There has been a noticeable lift in the performance of the school as we bend our backs to spring forward out of this situation.

Prefects continue to present their Last Word virtually. This week it was Cameron Moffitt's turn.

We are EduCard NZ, five Year 13 lads passionate about helping to educate the public about essential kiwi trivia. We have brought the business back for another year with a completely redesigned game.

Parents of prospective boarding students for 2021 and 2022 at all year levels and parents of current boarders at OBHS Hostel, are warmly invited to attend one of the following country visits to meet with school and hostel staff.

After a challenging beginning to the year with Covid-19, the Art department decided to create a photography competition that focused on the theme of Isolation.

It is a tradition at Otago Boys' High School that senior assemblies finish with the reading from the Book of Remembrance.

Given the current financial uncertainty for many families, we appreciate the difficulties many will be facing. If we can alleviate any stress around paying for school and sports fees we are happy for parents to look at a payment plan which may help spread the load.

The firewood and grocery hamper raffles will be drawn next week.

As we all know Otago Boys' High School has a rich history in Dunedin which has been well recorded. We want to continue this by capturing stories of your time in lockdown as an Otago Boys' High School community record of Covid-19, a major worldwide event in history.
