Final words from Chairman Brent Nicholson for 2017

The Foundation remains in a stable position and an active supporter of the school.

Over 2017 we have had a change of personnel in our team, I have been appointed to the role of Chairman as Greg Easton has stood down from this role at the recent AGM. We have also been joined by John Blaikie.

Our goal is to align ourselves closer with the Old Boys’ Society and help bring the many Old Boys’ and Friends of the school closer together in supporting Richard Hall (Rector) and his great team of senior management, teachers and support staff.

We are very focused on reigniting contact with our Old Boys’ and Friends of the school. This will be achieved through many hours of phone calls and research work on our present database of contacts. Please help us in this quest by getting in touch with the Foundation to check we have your correct contact details.

Next year we will be working with the Old Boys’ Society to hold more lunches in Dunedin and in the regions. We want your support in building a more active group who then in turn will support our great old school.

Many of us still have boys at the school and are aware of the great teaching that is still going on. The boys are still achieving at the highest standard on the national stage and we all need to keep our support up.

Be proud of being an Old Boy and come forward to support us.

Wishing you all a safe and Merry Christmas with family and friends.

Brent Nicholson
