On Tuesday Mr Hall, the Rector announced this year's Prefects and presented their badges and ties to them in senior assembly.

This morning we celebrated the success and dedication of last year's Level 1 students who passed all NCEA assessments, both internal and external.  100% completion at the very highest level is needed for this type of success. Congratulations boys, well done!

2013 Dux Tim Chisholm came to visit school on Thursday afternoon to offer words of advice and inspiration to our current and future students aiming for similar academic heights.

These Year 10 students are happily putting their building and problem solving skills to use. Through building and programming the NXT mindstorm the boys will prepare themselves for the ROBOCUP competition later on in the year. Competition will be rife once the boys begin completing the Green City Challenges! 

Year 13 Biology students spent Wednesday and Thursday mornings with scientists at the Physiology Department University of Otago.

The first week of term was a busy one for the new year 9 students at the hostel.

At the Caledonian sports ground on Wednesday, our students displayed the traditional spirited competition that makes these days a success for all participants.

Over the Christmas holidays there has been various athletics meets that a number of OBHS boys have been involved in.

Our annual fees day will be held on Wednesday 23 March. School fee invoices and a payment envelope were sent home at the beginning of March.
