Morning guys, hope you have all had a great holiday. I will start and end this speech with the same quote, so it hopefully will have more impact. “You may delay, but time will not, and lost time is never found again” - Benjamin Franklin.

At senior assembly this week we celebrated the awarding of badges and ties to a further three Prefects for 2020.

Term 3 has started out on the right foot for Otago Boys' High School. The prefect team were once again challenged by John McGlashan College to a dodgeball rematch which was held in our school gym this past Thursday.

A massive thank you to Mitre 10 for their generosity. The new fence around the sustainability project area looks awesome!

Otago Boys’ High School would like to congratulate Southern United Under 16 Academy players Corey Reid and Hwi Chang who have been selected for the New Zealand Football new Regional Training Centre programme starting in August.

As we all know Otago Boys' High School has a rich history in Dunedin which has been well recorded. We wanted to continue this by capturing stories of our school community’s time in lockdown in New Zealand and around the world. The first of our collection was submitted by our Head Boy, Angus Henderson.

To shake off any lingering effects of lockdown the international hostel students went on a road trip around the lower South Island in the first week of the holidays.

The last two weeks of Term 2 proved to be a busy time for our students. With the return to school post lockdown, we celebrated Samoa Language Week / Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa which was held on Sunday 24 May to Saturday 30 May. In addition, we were able to hold our first Fono night for 2020.
