In this day and age, with ever-increasing connectivity through the internet and other means, the ideas of security and privacy may be in their death throes. But surely this loss of liberty can be argued to be balanced by a greater increase in our freedom of speech.

Hello everyone! So I’m sure most of you have already heard about this but Otago Boys’ High School is participating in the Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand’s annual Shave for a Cure event.

This morning four of our junior students: Xavier Hill, Eli Ellison, Stanley Moko  and Vini Nika had the opportunity to attend a talk and performance by renowned New Zealand poet, Glenn Colquhoun at the Dunedin Public Library as part of the Dunedin Writers and Readers Festival.

Year 12 student Louis Harris has been away representing Otago at the National Age Group Cycling Championships in Cambridge.

The annual Year 13 OBHS formal is just around the corner and is shaping up to be an amazing event for all involved. 

Cycling Otago has a proud history of producing Olympians and internationally ranked riders. We currently have a number of students here at Otago Boys' High School involved in the club.
