10A have arrived back from their week at camp

This years School Haka competition saw an impressive set of performances by all of our students in their Houses.

I have just had the opportunity to spend 4 enjoyable days with 10G on camp in the Mt Aspiring National Park.

Wednesday saw the start of the hugely popular Dunedin Secondary Schools Debate Competition, held every Wednesday fortnight for juniors. OBs has two confirmed teams entered into what is always a challenging competition, with a possible 3rd team on its way. All the best, boys!

The OBHS Book club meets fortnightly at interval to fight over new books, biscuits and who is arguably reading the greatest book of the week. 

A team of seven boys represented the School at the South Island Triathlon and Duathlon Championships in the weekend. The Oamaru Triathlon, in its 33rd year, has become the annual event at which the South Island Schools’ Championships are contested. 

After winning the boys’ section of the Otago Region Secondary Schools' Tennis competition OBHS travelled to Timaru to play in the South Island finals last weekend. 

Congratulations to Ashton Booth, George Brookland, Callum Hill, Cameron Moffitt, Joshua Sammut and Winston Ward who competed for their athletics club Hill City at last weekends Athletics Club Championship event.

April sees a rare return to Dunedin of one of our notable Old Boys and one of the city's favourite sons.
