In slightly damp conditions the spirit of sportsmanship lived once again.

Firstly, I’d like to congratulate all the teams who went away on winter tournament last week. From what I’ve heard, you represented the school well, even if you may not have gotten the result you were looking for.

Last night, in front of a packed crowd Tama o le Aisa took the stage with power and grace and performed traditional Samoan and Tongan songs and dances.

It's that time of year again. With painting and printmaking portfolios due in just over a month, the art room starts to get busy.

This morning at House Assembly the annual House Singing Competition was held.

Whilst Tournament week was in full throw, the remaining Year 10 Art students went to the Dunedin Art Gallery to see what was happening in the local Art scene.

Our two classes of Year 11 students have recently completed their internal on 'Cultural Influences on Food in New Zealand'.

We are a group of OBHS students who for Business Studies are taking part in the Young Enterprise Scheme. The product we have come up with is called Koru Pencils.

Senior futsal kicked off on Thursday night to the beats of Polyfest, and the games were high tempo too. The competition is being played over the last three weeks of the term, with two games played each night.

Senior exams commence on Thursday 19 September.

Exams for senior students start on Thursday 19 September and will continue until Friday 27 September.
