Skeggs Foundation Funding Recipents for September 2021

Otago Community Trust —

Otago Community Trust provides annual funding to the Skeggs Foundation that enable Otago coaches and officials to grow and improve representative sport across Otago.

The purpose of the Skeggs Foundation Fund is twofold. 

Firstly, it is designed to support the development of coaches at the regional level (Otago or sub-regional such as North, South, or Central Otago) to improve their skills and knowledge to provide quality experiences for our young sportspeople. 

Secondly, the funding also assists officials in gaining the skills and experience required to increase the availability of quality sporting experiences for young people in Otago.  

Otago Community Trust was pleased to approve a total of $19,950 in support of 25 Otago coaches and officials at its October board meeting. The full detailed list of coaches and officials and their respective sporting codes can be found below:

The fund has been running since 1993 with thousands of coaches, officials and athletes having been supported with grants. 

The funding rounds close on 20 March and 20 September each year.

How you can help - Skeggs Foundation Fuel Card

Outside of Otago Community Trust funding, the Skeggs Foundation raises money to support Otago sport via those people using a Skeggs Foundation Fuel Card.
