Important updates to our privacy policy

Otago Community Trust —

New Zealand’s Privacy Act has recently been updated so Otago Community Trust has used this opportunity to update our privacy policy.

Our privacy policy applies to any personal information that we collect when you interact with us and sets out how Otago Community Trust uses personal information.

What's new in this version of Otago Community Trust's privacy policy?

We have updated legislative references to refer to the new Privacy Act 2020 (this changed on 1 December to replace the old Privacy Act 1993)

We have clarified that our privacy policy also applies to information that we collect when visiting our website and we have integrated an alert to notify the user of the use of cookies to collect information.

The policy explains what happens when we collect information from grantees and that any non-identifiable information will also be treated in accordance with Otago Community Trust's Privacy Policy.

We clarify the contact details of the Otago Community Trust Privacy Officer should you need to contact the Trust with a matter of concern and that you have the right to make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

These updates will help us continue to improve our services and make it easier for you to understand how we collect and use personal information. You can access Otago Community Trust's privacy policy HERE.

Our updated Privacy Policy came into effect on 17 December 2020. By continuing to use our services, you agree to these updated terms.
