Presented by MBIE and supported by Charities Services, the first two webinars in the series on the new Incorporated Societies Act 2022, look at what will change if your society decides to reregister under the new Act.

Robert Clarke is the guest speaker in each of the webinars. He is a senior policy advisor from MBIE and has led the team developing the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.

If your organisation is an incorporated society, you will need to start the re-registration process with New Zealand Companies Office. Incorporated societies can apply to re-register under the new Act any time from 5 October 2023 to 5 April 2026.

There are a number of items you will need to prepare before you are ready to re-register, so check out the Companies Office website for details on what to do.
