New Year's Eve - Party at the Gardens

The Party at the Gardens is back to ring in 2024, and people will be able to enjoy an entertainment-filled night to farewell 2023 and welcome in the New Year. Join the Waitaki District Council for a spectacular celebration in the Oamaru Public Gardens! Proudly supported by the Otago Community TrustExcitement awaits with MC's MulletMan & Mim leading the kid's countdown, Brazilian beats by Iara, local legends The Heavy Feathers with their cool covers, and classic dance tunes from The Beat Skips guiding us into the midnight festivities.

Time: 6pm onwards
Venue: Oamaru Public Gardens
Bring along your friends and whānau, a blanket, and deck chairs. Pack a picnic or indulge in delicious kai from the food stalls. Please note that this is an alcohol-free event (no BYO), but fear not, as a licensed Tipi bar area will be on-site for you to purchase refreshments and enjoy them there.
