Our Grantees - 2022 Dunedin Arts Festival

Otago Community Trust —

The 12th Dunedin Arts Festival will be a programme to delight, amuse and challenge. There is something for everybody!

Established in 1999 as the Otago Festival Of The Arts Trust, The Dunedin Arts Festival is the region’s premier festival of high quality performing and visual arts. Since the inaugural Festival in 2000 the Otago Community Trust has been a major funder, approving a biennial grant of $185,000 to support the festival and programme of events.

Running from the 12th to the 24th of October 2022 the Festival has a rich, diverse programme this year that will satisfy the artistic cravings of almost anyone.

There are two simple 'catch phrases' which encapsulate what the Festival is all about:

"celebrating the excellent and the extraordinary" and
"something for everyone”

and the Dunedin Arts Festival team hope that they are achieving both these with the programme they have put together for the community of Otago and visitors to our wonderful region.
